About Emma

I’m a 22 year old Textile design student studying my 3rd year at University of Derby and I have a passion for Print. I am inspired by a lot of things; textures, colour, mark making, drawing and fashion & Interiors, and of course trend predictions.

I seem to always work with flowers in one way or another, and each time I get more and more influenced by them by looking at the differently. I think people would agree that flowers have been produced to the extreme when it comes to Fashion and Textiles, although one way another they're always in fashion.

I really enjoy every aspect of Textiles, and I particularly love working with Digital prints and then using traditional hand processes on top of them. I mainly like working with lots of digital software packages that able me to create digital embellish looking prints.
