I have currently been working on my project with the Theme decay. This project is all about Print and Embroidery. Although, I felt because my whole theme was Flowers that the embroidery side was starting to look more like a badge, which is something I didn't really like, as they reminded me of the swimming badges you used/still? get. I thought about changing the scale to make it really big.
Changing the scale to a bigger size was quite tricky, but I managed it. Here are a few pictures of my piece being embroidered on the embroidery machine. I had to piece together my image in 4 sections, all together my piece is about 80cm x 80cm, so pretty big compared to a ones I had done previously which was barely 6cm.
My final piece, which doesn't do it much justice, but looks beautiful for a sample.
